Posture and The Stages of Learning

Unconsciously incompetent – You don’t know that you don’t know – when you see people in the street, or in your workplace or at home, most of them are unaware of their posture.

Consciously incompetent – You know that you don’t know. Crikey (you might say) I didn’t know my left shoulder was up around my ear – but now you know.

Consciously competent – after many months of daily exercises and reminders on your computer and phone you are starting to attain good posture through conscious effort.

Unconsciously competent – Now good posture, and daily exercises and postural awareness are a habit that no longer require conscious effort; time to start on the nutrition…
